Uttar Pradesh Board has finally announced an exact date of its results announcement.
The UP Board will announce its much awaited Class 10 (Matriculation) and 12(Intermediate) results on May 17.
This will be the first of its own kind when the Board will announce 10th and 12th results on same date.
According to a statement released by Board "A total of 34,98,430 students wrote their paper in Class 10 while 29,24,768 students appeared in Intermediate exam across the state.
This may certainly bring relief to lakhs of students impatiently waiting for their Board and Intermediate results. The wait will soon be over as the compilation of mark sheets are in the final stage.
The evaluation process of answer sheets have been completed. The Board had conducted Class 12th (Intermediate) exam from February 19 to March 23 while Matriculation exam was held between February 19 to March 11 (within 15 working days).
Girls had outperformed boys in Class 12 exams of the Uttar Pradesh Board, results for which was declared o May 25 last year. The total pass percentage of Girls was 95.13 per cent while 89.81% Boys passed the Intermediate exam.
